Located on the Cleethorpes seafront in the heart of the conservation area, this three storey Victorian terrace was remodelled to create Copper Bar at ground floor, with two flats above. As part of restoring Alexandra Road’s historic frontages, the focus was on reviving the original shopfront and creating a boutique style venue. The bar concept aimed to provide an intimate, relaxed setting for couples. The narrow footprint supported this, with cosy seating along one wall and additional spots at the bar for walk ins. Designed with a limited material palette of slate and copper, the space offers a warm setting for cocktails and meze. Texture and pattern played a key role in the detailing, enhanced by discreet lighting to create privacy between leather upholstered booth seating.
