his strategic move not only improves functionality but also consolidates key aspects of the business, Consultancy and Group Services, into one efficient space. The design solution employs a central feature atrium, creating a natural separation between these two core elements, while also serving as a shared collaborative hub.

The new office has been designed with a strong visual impact, featuring a colonnaded façade facing Pelham Road. This southern elevation benefits from deep walls that provide solar shading, with the colonnade introducing rhythm and a sense of grandeur to the building's appearance. The building's height and form are carefully considered to respect the local context, including nearby properties and the existing On Line office, which is a two-storey brick structure.

The architectural language of the new office is modern yet sympathetic to its surroundings, employing traditional materials executed with contemporary detailing. Stone cladding and brickwork form the primary materials, with Trespa panels and extensive glazing adding contrast and visual lightness. The design references the broader character of Pelham Road, incorporating elements seen in the County Hotel and the three-storey properties opposite.

To enhance privacy and soften the building's massing, tree planting is introduced along the west elevation, serving as both a visual screen and a passive solar shading element. This considered approach ensures the office integrates seamlessly into the local streetscape while maintaining a distinct identity.

The site layout has been designed to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Visitor parking is conveniently positioned at the front of the site, while the main staff car park is discreetly located to the rear, accessible from Hall Park Road. New tree planting lines the footpath and parking areas, reinforcing the connection between the building and its natural surroundings. The landscaped frontage along Pelham Road is designed to mirror the rhythm of the colonnade, blending hard and soft landscaping for an inviting street presence.

The building is a bold yet contextually sensitive development that harmonises modern architecture with traditional materials. Its thoughtful design addresses functionality, sustainability, and visual impact, setting a new standard for contemporary office spaces in Immingham.
